Meeting Rooms
The Cumberland Inn Conference Center provides 4,400 square feet of meeting and
banquet space in the Alison Templeton Adams Center. The Conference Center allows
you and your group to concentrate on the day's business without distraction or
to enjoy a celebration with friends and relatives. For further information on

Room Set-up and Audio Visual (A/V) Equipment
The Cumberland Inn is fully equipped to meet all your event needs. We would
be happy to lease and set up any equipment that you might require. Please let us
know if you need any other special equipment that is not listed.

Food and Beverage
Food and beverages served at all functions are provided by The Cumberland Inn.
It is the policy of The Cumberland Inn not to allow our customers to bring in
any food or beverage (with the exception of wedding cakes). Catering services by
companies other than The Cumberland Inn are also not allowed. The Cumberland Inn
reserves the right to inspect and control all functions. In addition, no food or
beverage is may be removed from the hotel property. The Cumberland Inn is an

Dining
The Athenaeum Restaurant features full service dining at a reasonable price.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily with choices from our a la carte
menu or our bountiful lunch and weekend buffets. Room service is available

Guarantee
The number of attendees must be specified at least seven days prior to the event
or function or the original expected number will be used as your guarantee. This
guaranteed number is not subject to reduction within the seven-day period prior
to the event. For buffets, the hotel will prepare the guaranteed number only.
Guest Rooms
The Cumberland Inn has 50 guest rooms consisting of four deluxe suites, one
mini-suite, and 45 standard rooms of which five are smoking, two handicap rooms
and two single rooms. Group rates can be negotiated through our Sales Office for
a guaranteed block of six rooms or more.
Decorations
All decorations provided by guests must be approved prior to the event by hotel
management.
Signs and Banners
The Cumberland Inn reserves the right to approve all signage. No signs are
allowed on guests floors, elevators, main lobby or hotel exterior without hotel
management approval.
Gift Shop & Museum
Located within The Cumberland Inn, The Cumberland Inn Museum and Gift Shop has a
variety of exhibits that will interest and warm the hearts of all ages. The
exhibits include Henkelmann's Life Science Collection, Williams' Cross
Collection, and Blair's Christmas Land. Our Gift Shop houses the only Ray Harm
gallery in Kentucky. You will also be able to find a large array of crafts as
well as Cumberland College Patriot merchandise.
Fees and Taxes
All room and food sales are subject to state and local taxes. Currently,
sleeping room taxes are 10.24% and food taxes are 9.18%. Our service charge is
18% and all applicable sales taxes shall be added to the account. Service
charges may be used by the hotel for the compensation of employees, including
service and non-service personnel and other purposes the hotel may deem
appropriate.
Security and Liability
The Cumberland Inn reserves the right to inspect and control all private
functions. The customer and/or organization is responsible for all damages and
shall reimburse the hotel for any damages, loss or liability incurred to the
hotel by any of the customers or their guests, or any persons or organizations
contracted by the customers to provide any services or goods before, during, and
after the function. The hotel is not responsible for damages or loss of any
items left in the hotel prior to or following the function. For certain events
the hotel may require that security guards be provided at the customer's
expense. Only hotel approved security may be used. |
